
Instructor of Clinical Neurological Surgery
Dr. Estin specializes in the treatment of brain tumors as well as spinal disorders. He has particular expertise in the use of endoscopic techniques to remove pituitary tumors at the base of the brain through the nose with no incision. He is well-versed in the use of advanced technology such as image guidance systems and stereotactic radiosurgery (i.e. CyberKnife, GammaKnife, Tomotherapy) for the eradication of brain tumors and trigeminal neuralgia.
Dr. Estin has advanced training in minimally invasive techniques for spinal surgery including the use of tubular portals for microdiscectomy, kyphoplasty and X-stop interspinous process decompression for spinal stenosis. He also has expertise in artificial disc replacement surgery in the cervical spine.
With his main office in central New Jersey, Dr. Estin has helped to establish a center of excellence for Columbia Neurosurgery in the communities of Monmouth and Ocean counties.
