Dr. Ghatan's specialization in Pediatric Neurosurgery encompasses a wide variety of disorders, with special emphasis in Childhood Epilepsy and Minimally Invasive Endoscopic Neurosurgery. Together with specialists in the Comprehensive Epilepsy Center at Children's Hospital of New York Presbyterian and Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan, Dr. Ghatan treats medically refractory seizures in children and young adults with safe and effective surgical techniques.  Throughout his practice, he incorporates the latest advances in brain imaging with less invasive, more precise surgical technology to affect better and safer outcomes for children
