The Pediatric Neurosurgery Center at Columbia is internationally recognized for its outstanding care of infants, children and young adults with diseases or injuries to the brain or spinal cord.
Evaluation and treatment is provided by our pediatric neurosurgery team who specialize in the evaluation and treatment of children with a range of neurosurgical disorders, such as brain tumors, spasticity, movement disorders, intractable epilepsy, hydrocephalus, craniosynostosis, head injuries, and spina bifida, as well as other cranial malformations and spinal deformities. In addition, a full range of qualified health care professionals comprise a multidisciplinary team of specialists that can only be found at a hospital dedicated solely to children.
